I ROUND TABLE FOR STRENGTHENING RESEARCH MANAGEMENT AT UAGRM

On the morning of Wednesday, September 14, the Directorate for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation – DICiT, held a Round Table to discuss the topic "STRENGTHENING OF RESEARCH MANAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN BOLIVIA AND PARAGUAY, an event attended by Deans, University Directors and Directors of Research Units of our university and invited representatives of the sector public and private.

The Project "Strengthening research management in higher education institutions in Bolivia and Paraguay/INNOVA" corresponds to the Erasmus plus Program (Erasmus+) within the framework of international financing and cooperation for development in higher education, in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

The objective of the project is to improve the research management of Higher Education Institutions in Bolivia and Paraguay, with a specific focus on Climate Change.

The project is made up of 11 partners who have been chosen in consideration of the characteristics of the I+D education system in Bolivia and Paraguay, including the UAGRM.

The development of this event has made it possible to socialize the results of the INNOVA project with the different internal and external actors, which has generated an interesting dialogue and contributions for the implementation of different good practices in the management of research at the University, which allow transforming daily practices for the benefit of all recipients and/or internal and external users of the research service.

At the end of the event, the attendees agreed on the importance of strengthening research management, which will have the direct effect of promoting research with social relevance, considering climate change as a transversal axis.
